Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir → Taroudant → Taliouine → Ouarzazate Our journey begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Agadir. We head east towards the historic city of Taroudant, often called the "Grandmother of Marrakech" for its impressive ramparts. After a short visit, we continue through Taliouine, the heart of Morocco's saffron-growing region. Our route then takes us to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous backdrop for many blockbuster movies. We'll explore this ancient fortified village before continuing to Ouarzazate, where you will have dinner and spend the night in a hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate → Todra Gorges → Erfoud → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) After breakfast, we depart for the Sahara. Our first major stop is the spectacular Todra Gorge, a massive canyon with towering rock walls that reach up to 300 meters high. You'll have time for a walk along the river to fully appreciate this natural wonder. We continue our journey through the fossil-rich town of Erfoud, arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Here, you will switch your 4x4 for a camel and embark on a memorable trek into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes. You'll watch the sunset over the golden sands before arriving at your traditional Berber desert camp. The evening includes a delicious Moroccan dinner, music around a campfire, and a magical night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga → Alnif → Draa Valley → Agadir Wake up early to witness an unforgettable sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast at the camp, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga to meet your driver. We then begin our long but scenic journey back to Agadir. The route takes us through the Alnif area, across the Anti-Atlas mountains, and down into the vast and beautiful Draa Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves. We'll make several stops for photos and lunch along the way, arriving back in Agadir in the evening, where your incredible desert adventure concludes.
