Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir → Taroudant → Taliouine → Ait Ben Haddou

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup in Agadir. We drive through the charming coastal city of Taroudant, known for its impressive ramparts and traditional markets. We continue to Taliouine, the heart of Morocco's saffron-producing region, where you can learn about this precious spice. Our final destination is the magnificent Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as the backdrop for numerous films. You'll have time to explore this ancient fortress before dinner and your overnight stay in a nearby hotel.

Day 2: Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley → Merzouga Desert Camp

After breakfast, we visit the famous Film Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate before traveling along the legendary "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs." We explore the stunning Dades Valley with its dramatic red rock formations and visit the spectacular Dades Gorge. We continue through Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs rise dramatically on either side. We then travel to Merzouga, stopping at Erfoud to visit a local fossil workshop. In the late afternoon, you'll embark on a camel trek into the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunset. Spend the night in a traditional Berber desert camp, complete with authentic Moroccan dinner, music, and the magic of sleeping under the stars with fresh desert air.

Day 3: Merzouga - Desert Exploration & Riad Overnight

Wake up early to experience a spectacular desert sunrise and ride your camel back to camp for breakfast. Spend the morning exploring the dunes at your leisure or relax in your camp. In the afternoon, we transfer you to a comfortable traditional Riad in Merzouga where you can refresh and enjoy the local atmosphere. Dinner is included at your riad. This day allows you to experience both the authentic desert camp and the comfort of traditional Moroccan hospitality.

Day 4: Merzouga → Marrakech

After breakfast at your riad, we begin our journey west to Marrakech, traveling through the Middle Atlas mountains and scenic countryside. Along the way, we pass through charming Berber villages and witness the transition from desert to greener landscapes. We travel through the Draa Valley and High Atlas Mountain passes, enjoying spectacular views. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where you can begin exploring the bustling medina, famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, and the vibrant Red City at your leisure.
