Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Upon your arrival at Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport, you will be met by our driver and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, which is majestically situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Dinner and overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca → Rabat → Fes

After breakfast, we will explore more of Casablanca before departing for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In Rabat, we'll visit key sites such as the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. After our tour of Rabat, we continue our journey to the city of Fes, where you will check into your riad for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Fes Guided City Tour

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes, the oldest of the Imperial Cities. Our guided tour will take you through the labyrinthine streets of the Fes el-Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will visit the Bou Inania and Al-Attarine Madrasas, the Nejjarine Fountain, the famous tanneries, and the exterior of the Quaraouiyine Mosque. You will have lunch in the medina and continue your exploration in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Fes.

Day 4: Fes → Meknes → Volubilis → Fes

We'll take a day trip to the nearby Imperial City of Meknes and the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. In Meknes, known as the "Versailles of Morocco," we will see the monumental Bab Mansour gate, the Heri es-Souani granaries, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Afterward, we drive to Volubilis, a well-preserved Roman city, to explore its impressive mosaics, arches, and temples. We return to Fes in the evening.

Day 5: Fes → Middle Atlas Mountains → Marrakech

After breakfast, we will start our longest day of travel, heading south towards Marrakech. The journey takes us through the beautiful landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains. We'll pass through Ifrane, known as "Morocco's Little Switzerland," and the cedar forests of Azrou, where we may spot Barbary apes. We will make several stops for photos and lunch before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in your Marrakech riad.

Day 6: Marrakech Guided City Tour

Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Marrakech, the "Red City." We will visit the city's most important historical and cultural sites, including the Majorelle Garden, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, we will explore the bustling souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, with its snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls. Enjoy a final farewell dinner and spend the night in Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech → Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Marrakech-Menara Airport for your departure flight, bringing your imperial cities adventure to a close.
