Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca Arrive at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. We will visit the Hassan II Mosque, an architectural masterpiece. Dinner and overnight in Casablanca.
Day 2: Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen We travel to Rabat, Morocco's capital, to visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. We then continue our journey north to the stunning "Blue City" of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Dinner and overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes After exploring the blue streets of Chefchaouen, we head towards Fes. On the way, we'll visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and the Imperial City of Meknes, seeing the grand Bab Mansour gate. We arrive in Fes in the evening.
Day 4: Fes Guided City Tour A full day dedicated to Fes, the spiritual heart of Morocco. Our tour includes the medieval medina, the famous tanneries, Al-Attarine and Bou Inania Madrasas, and the Nejjarine Fountain.
Day 5: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga We leave Fes, traveling south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We'll pass through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou. The journey continues through the scenic Ziz Valley to the edge of the Sahara at Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in a hotel at the dune line.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert Exploration & Camel Trek Explore the desert region by 4x4, visit Khamlia village for Gnawa music, and meet a nomadic family. In the afternoon, you'll ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes to a desert camp for a night under the stars with traditional dinner and music.
Day 7: Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley Wake up to a desert sunrise and ride your camel back. After breakfast, we depart for the Dades Valley. We'll stop to walk through the impressive Todra Gorge, a massive canyon. We continue along the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" to Dades.
Day 8: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Benhaddou We drive to Ouarzazate, visiting the film studios. We then explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, staying overnight in a hotel near this iconic kasbah.
Day 9: Ait Benhaddou → Taroudant We travel south to Taroudant, often called "Little Marrakech" for its impressive ramparts and medina. This is a less-touristed, authentic Moroccan town. Dinner and overnight in a riad.
Day 10: Taroudant → Agadir → Essaouira We head to the Atlantic coast, passing through the city of Agadir. We'll follow the scenic coastal road, known for its Argan trees, to the charming port town of Essaouira.
Day 11: Essaouira Guided City Tour Enjoy a relaxing day exploring Essaouira. Visit the Skala de la Ville, the fishing port, and wander through the UNESCO-listed medina with its art galleries and craft shops.
Day 12: Essaouira → Marrakech In the afternoon, we leave Essaouira and make the journey inland to the vibrant city of Marrakech. Check into your riad and enjoy a free evening.
Day 13: Marrakech Guided City Tour A full-day tour of Marrakech. We'll visit the Majorelle Garden, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. We'll end the day in the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square and its surrounding souks.
Day 14: Marrakech → Departure After breakfast, you will be transferred to Marrakech-Menara Airport for your departure, filled with incredible memories of your Moroccan heritage tour.
