Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga We begin our journey from Fes, traveling south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We'll stop in Ifrane, known as "Morocco's Switzerland," and the cedar forests of Azrou to see the Barbary apes. After lunch in Midelt, we continue through the scenic Ziz Valley, arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon. You will begin your camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to your desert camp for the night. Enjoy a sunset and a traditional dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Exploration & Rissani After waking up to a desert sunrise and breakfast, you'll have a full day to explore. We will take a 4x4 tour around the dunes, visit Khamlia village for Gnawa music, and meet a nomadic family. In the afternoon, we visit the historic market of Rissani before returning to Merzouga for the night in a hotel at the edge of the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Fes On our final day, we start our journey back to Fes. The route takes us back through the beautiful Ziz Valley and across the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will make several stops for photos and lunch along the way. Your tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation in Fes in the evening.
