Detailed Itinerary
Our day trip begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. We'll travel westward through the Moroccan countryside, enjoying views of the Haouz plains. Along the way, we'll make a stop at an Argan oil cooperative, where you can see how this precious "liquid gold" is traditionally extracted by local Berber women.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, you'll have ample free time to explore this charming UNESCO World Heritage-listed city at your own pace. Wander through the narrow, whitewashed streets of the medina, browse the countless art galleries and craft shops, and admire the intricately carved wooden doors.
Make your way to the bustling fishing port to see the iconic blue boats and watch the fishermen unload their daily catch. Walk along the historic ramparts (Skala de la Ville), which offer stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the crashing waves. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at one of the many local restaurants by the port (not included).
In the late afternoon, we will regroup and begin our journey back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening where your tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or riad.
